Decorating the home will involve at some point, working with your
walls. In one way or another, you are bound to eventually feel the urge
to paint them. But most of the times, (re)designing or (re)painting
walls have a more permanent impact than paintings do. So, before you
change the look and feeling of your home in a semi-permanent manner, try the relatively temporary and simpler way. Grab these items:
• a couple of brushes (thin and thick);
• a piece of paper;
• a board of canvas;
• a twig of leaves;
• a small bowl;
• a bottle of acrylic paint;
• a can of spray paint;
• a can of spray adhesive;
• a piece of paper;
• a board of canvas;
• a twig of leaves;
• a small bowl;
• a bottle of acrylic paint;
• a can of spray paint;
• a can of spray adhesive;
The steps are quite easy and will definitely take you back to arts
& crafts classes from school. Begin with painting the canvas in the
color you like the final leaves (or plant) to appear. Use the bowl,
thick brush and acrylic to cover the whole surface with this color. You
could place the twig over a piece of paper and spray some adhesive over
it. So when you put it on the canvas and apply the spray paint on the
whole piece, it won’t slide away. Remove the leaves when you’re done.
Let the canvas dry and take a thin brush to make some details or shadows
on the pattern obtained. Do a couple or four of this paintings and
decorate your wall in a nice way.
